Thank you Rough Riders for attending the 20 year reunion. A fun time was had by all!

Reunion attendees brought 38 filled backpacks, and 20 new unfilled backpacks were donated by Leah S W. A special thank you to Matt High, Brett Beza, and Matt Malan for their generous contributions to this project, and to the following people for their support: Carol Moore, Russell Wilson, Melissa Stubbs,Terri Poe, Clarice S., Tia Phantihip, Larry and Kris Gomez, Adrienne Dangelat, Michelle Lyons, Clytee Ramsy, Stephanie G F, Kellie P C, Brent Landseadal, William Mitchell, Jennifer Zavala, Shari Arakelian, Scott Salsman, Ric Breitwieser, Marci Centeno, Cara Ridge, Mykel Cardoza, Jeff Darby, James Eastman, Willow Reed, Brandon Ackel, Edward Gomez, Adam Lee, Vince Anderson, Walter Dunn, Shenee Slade, Allessandria Polizzi, Danielle Sierra, Melissa Vinicor, Melissa Carmichael, Andria Alvarado, Sarah Lebeau, Kartina Haeger, Jordan Kornzweig, Martin Herb and David Dodini. We also collected $450 towards the purchase of additional backpacks and supplies, helping us to get very close to our goal of 100. If you weren't able to do so before, you can still support the project by sending a monetary donation to me through paypal. Donate $20 and a packpack will be made in your name. And thanks to Edwina Ammonds, who pledged to get us to our goal if we fall short!!

Cara Ridge will coordinate the distribution of the backpacks to FUSD, and Kris Gomez will be doing the shopping for additional packs with the donated money.

Pictures of the reunion taken by the photographer will be posted here soon.

I can't say enough thanks to those who helped and supported my efforts this past year to get this reunion off the ground:
Amy Glines- you are an absolutely fabulous event planner and wonderful partner- let's do it again!
John Morgenstern- thanks for your outstanding work on the invites, bookmarks and slideshow
Adrienne Dangelat- you were supportive from day ONE! The favors were beautiful!
Matt High- for your generous support of me and the backpack project- I love you.
Matt, Ryan, and Rusty- you throw a mean pool party- thanks for the generous supply of beverages!
Cara Ridge- your brother was my inspiration- thank you for finishing up the project with FUSD
David D-thanks for jumping on board and giving us your support. It was great to see you again
Kris and Larry Gomez- thanks for helping with the backpacks and for doing the additional shopping!
Vince Anderson- for giving the invocation- thank you!!

And to everyone who gave their money early so this could get off the ground. We couldn't have done it without you! I feel blessed to have great friends.

That's a WRAP-
